For as long as we can remember, brands have been hiding from us — creating distrust and causing doubt. But it’s time to put a stop to the madness and expose ourselves because with Veja’s sustainable practices and ethical sourcing, we truly have nothing to hide and we’ll ask our fans to bare it all right along with us.

 Bare it All

Veja

 Veja Unboxed

A transparent pop-up store appears in LA to show that Veja has nothing to hide. Inside, local artist Andrea Zittel works on finishing touches on some custom Vejas which are sold in a limited edition clear shoe box.

 Barely Magazine

Veja publishes their own magazine, Barely, to self-publish all their records along with highlighting brands and nonprofits they love and support.

Streak With VEJA

Partnered with the Nearly Naked Mile, Veja encourages runners across college campuses to drop their old worn shoes after their run to be recycled and revamped into some Vejas.

CEO Strip Down

Hosted on YouTube, Veja will release a series where the CEO strips down and gets vulnerable with other naked hosts.

These interviews will be fully naked, just some strategically placed props to cover up the bits that aren’t allowed on YouTube.

Bare It All Benefit Show

Veja hosts a Bare It All benefit fashion show partnered with French sustainable fashion brand, Araks. During the show, models will be progressively baring it all. At the end, the CEO comes out completely stripped-down, baring it all.

The benefits from the show will go to BVRio Environmental benefiting Brazilian communities where Veja products are sourced and produced.

#Bareitall

With the Hashtags #BareItAll and/or #BareYourTruth, Veja encourages users to be more transparent in their lives and with their purchasing habits. For the people who are really picking up what we’re putting down, there’s an automated Tweet they can send out to their favorite brands to encourage more transparency.
